Twelve(2010)

Twelve follows “White Mike” (Chace Crawford) a kid with limitless potential who has dropped out of school to sell drugs to his rich, spoiled peers. When White Mike’s cousin Charlie is brutally murdered on an East Harlem playground, and his best friend Hunter is arrested for the crime, White Mike is hurled on a collision course leading to an explosive climax.  Ultimately, the film serves as a report on the secret lives of certain wealthy young Americans that is likely to shock their oblivious parents while simultaneously dipping into issues of race and class and the debilitation of a generation.  Twelve exposes the emptiness of material desire in this dual murder mystery and morality tale.
